Hello fellow members of ISCMA.

Good news, we have secured an agreement with the Renaissance Hotel in downtown Pittsburgh, PA for 2010. We are very fortunate to have this location for our 2010 conference as it is the only 5 Diamond Hotel in Pittsburgh, and not only are the accommodations incredible but the views and rates are, too. After weeks of twisting arms we have locked in the hotel rooms at $129 per night for a single or $149 per night for a double. The regular rate for this hotel is typically $219 or more based on availability so you won't want to miss this year's conference. There is one caveat: you must register for your room nights no later than Friday 17 September to secure this rate.

We hope to have everything updated on the web site for next year's conference by the end of January.

Our 1st Vice President is already lining up what I am sure will be a great program, and I hope you all will be able to make it. The usual golf outing and walk will take place this year mid-day Sunday 10-10-09 so travelers coming in that day can participate. We are thinking of a casual tailgate party to get things started Sunday night. Be sure to bring your favorite team jersey, college or professional. There will also be some special entertainment at this year's program on Sunday and Monday, but I am going to keep that a secret for now.

So, mark your calendar for Oct. 10-12, 2010, and get to work on your publisher. The theme this year is come and learn the plays to grow your profit and market penetration in the city of champions. That should score with the publishers, as we all know that is what they want.
